Some Smoothie Recipes


Use sorbet for dairy free smoothies.

Pina Colada Smoothie

5 Tbs. Coconut milk
2 1/2 cups pineapple juice
1/2 cup pineapple sherbet or sorbet
1/2 frozen banana (cut into chunks)
1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

Pour all liquid ingredients into the blender. Add all frozen ingredients. Process until blended and smooth.
Serves 3-5.

Tropical Smoothie

1 cup frozen mango.
1 ripe banana, (cut into chunks)
1cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup pineapple sorbet or sherbet
1 cup orange or pineapple juice
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk

In a blender, combine all the ingredients.
Process until thoroughly blended and smooth.
Optional garnish: Toasted coconut.

Raspberry Crush Smoothie

1 Cup raspberry juice
1 Cup fresh raspberries, frozen
½ cup sliced fresh banana, frozen
1 Cup raspberry sorbet or sherbet
½ cup chopped ice cubes

In a blender, combine ingredients and blend until smooth.
Makes about three cups.

Mango Tango Smoothie Recipe

1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup orange juice
1/2 frozen banana (cut into chunks)
1 cup pineapple sorbet or sherbet
1 1/2 cups frozen mango slices

In a blender, combine ingredients and blend until smooth.
Serves 3-5.



Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

Can't find or don't have chocolate sorbert and want to make the dairy free version....make your own. Chocolate Sorbert recipe

1 cup chocolate ice cream or chocolate sorbet
1/4 cup milk (or soy milk)
1/2 frozen banana
2 tablespoons peanut butter

In a blender container, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
Serves 1 or 2.
